The Duke Federico da Montefeltro, thanks to the wealth generated by its excellent military leadership, has created a Court at Urbino whose fame spread throughout Europe, reaching even to set up one of the most famous libraries of the time. In his honour Tasting Marche wants to present this unique combination of products: Marasche puff pastry tart, delicious shortbread to pair with Jam sour cherries and pears with ginger scented, Honey And Dried Fruit, much loved by the Duke, perfect to enrich a wedge of Medium Hard Pecorino Cheese, and the Picenum Vino Cotto, to be savoured slowly, perhaps immersed in the pages of one of the masters of classical literature.
