The recipe for these particular biscuits has its roots in the culture of the Marche Region. In the beginning the farmers use to recycle the leftovers of the “polenta” with a little watering, then this mix was enriched with ingredients available at the time such as figs, raisins, nuts and others. Nowadays these special cookies are no longer a simple dish, but they have become a very tasty sweets, best combination between authenticity and flavour.
