The flowering cherry tree reminds inevitably to the cherry blossoms of Japan. Anyway, this tree is typical also on some hills of the Marche; this cultivation, along with other fruit trees, gave to Coop. Sociale San Michele Arcangelo the possibility to colour the hills surrounding Corridonia(MC) and to have delicious fruits. The cherry tree is well suited to organic cultivation; if carefully processed, its fruits keep all the organoleptic and nutritional properties, even once made into jam. To create 100 grams of the Organic Cherry Jam, Coop. Sociale San Michele Arcangelo needs 130 grams of fruit, in order to assure an excellent product.
The Coop. Sociale San Michele Arcangelo was founded in 2007, with the purpose of helping disadvantaged people to reintegrate into society through new incentives and growth opportunities. Over the years, with this noble purpose, the Cooperative has created a thriving business, which is closely linked to the territory and offers products rigorously certified as organic by the Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute (ICEA). San Michele Arcangelo's products are handmade, according to the traditional method, and totally respectful of the environment, everything to guarantee the highest quality for the consumer and an unforgettable experience for every palate.
